Liam Gallagher, now leading the band Beady Eyes, with wife Nicole Appleton, former of All Saints.
Rocker Liam Gallagher’s family is blaming the former Oasis frontman for fathering a love child and cheating on his wife, Canadian singer and actress Nicole Appleton.
“Liam has only got himself to blame — he’s just too wild,” an unnamed relative told The Mirror. “I said he should never have got married.”
Gallagher, who now fronts the band Beady Eyes, married the former All Saints crooner in 2008.
The Gallagher family has also reportedly advised Liam to seek out an attorney for the ensuing court case and to consult with a divorce lawyer, according to the Daily Mail.
Nicole Appleton (pictured) was married to Liam Gallagher when sources say he had an affair and child with New York Times freelance entertainment writer Liza Ghorbani.
Gallagher, 40, made headlines last week when it was revealed that he had an affair with a former New York Times entertainment freelance reporter, Liza Ghorbani. She is suing him in Manhattan Family Court for $ 3 million to support her 7-month-old baby girl, Emma. The lawsuit is mysteriously filed as Anonymous v. Anonymous, a close friend confirmed.
Gallagher met Ghorbani three years ago, when she penned a nightlife piece about him for the New York Times and they hung out at the Ritz-Carlton bar.
Gallagher has three children by three different women, one of them by his current wife.
Appleton has remained silent about the scandal since it broke last week.
The News was the first media outlet to confirm the name of the mother of Liam Gallagher’s love child.
Gallagher is currently on tour in Spain with his band and was spotted smoking cigarettes, hanging poolside and partying in Ibiza.
The Daily Mail reported yesterday that Appleton was “furious” and, according to a friend, “told Liam not to come home, at least not for a few weeks.”
According to a friend of 39-year-old Ghorbani, “[The affair] went on until she told him she was pregnant. He cut it off. He was so paranoid his wife would find out. He stopped talking to her when the court papers were filed.”
Friends told the Daily News last week Ghorbani had at one time tried and failed to sell a roman a clef about a woman who was pursued by rockstars.
Ghorbani, who lives in New York City, was said to be holed up at her parents house over the weekend in the wealthy suburb of McLean, Va.
