Ashley Judd and husband of 11 years Dario Franchitti separated in January, but are now reportedly planning to give their marriage another go.
Ashley Judd may have found where her heart is.
The “Where the Heart Is” actress, 45, and her estranged husband Dario Franchitti are reportedly getting back together.
“They are going to give it another try after he recovers,” a source told Us Weekly magazine. “His accident made her realize how much she loves him.”
Franchitti, 40, a race car driver, was involved in a serious accident at the Houston Grand Prix on October 6. He suffered a concussion, a broken right ankle, and two fractured vertebrae, according to the magazine.
Judd rushed to his side at the hospital after hearing about it.
Judd rushed to Franchitti’s side after the race car driver was severely injured at the Houston Grand Prix on October 6.
“Thank you for the prayers for Dario, I have only clothes on my back & the dogs but that’s all that we need & we are on our way,” she tweeted hours after.
“Amazed by the incredible outpouring of care & prayers. Thanks, everyone. Keeping our heads down here & doing what’s in front of us to do.”
The couple, who have been married for 11 years, announced their separation in January with a statement.
“We have mutually decided to end our marriage,” it read. “We’ll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity and respect we have always enjoyed.”
They have no children together – as Judd, an avid humanitarian, previously said it would be “unconscionable to breed with the number of children who are starving to death in impoverished countries.”
