Kellan Lutz denied that he and and Miley Cyrus are an item on ‘Today.’
“Legend of Hercules” star Kellan Lutz slammed rumors linking him romantically to the 21-year-old pop star on the “Today” show Wednesday.
Whispers about his relationship warming with the “Wrecking Ball” singer began after the two were spotted departing a private jet together in Miami on Dec. 17, reportedly after a one-night trip tot he Bahamas. They were spotted together again at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Dec. 27.
“Do you see that picture?” Lutz asked Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, referring to the shot of him and Miley. “I mean, why would you assume that someone was dating (from that)? Miley and I have been friends … it’s comical for me.

‘It’s comical for me,’ Lutz said, addressing the rumors that he and Cyrus were heating up.
“I’m a public figure, she’s a public figure. I’ve been friends with her for six years and we’re in the same circle,” Lutz continued. “I’m dating everyone these days, let’s just start that rumor.”
Lutz also dished about getting fit for his role as a Greek legend.
“They put me on a horse, and that’s a great workout for your legs and your core; sword fighting is great for your shoulders and your chest,” he explained.
His film, “The Legend of Hercules,” opens in theaters on Jan. 10 — whether Miley is in the audience or not.
