Outspoken animal advocate and vegetarian Morrissey took a strong stance on slaughterhouses — comparing them to the Auschwitz concentration camp.
He once said meat was murder.
Now controversial singer Morrissey has claimed there is “no difference” between eating meat and pedophilia.
The former Smiths front man and vegetarian made the claim while talking to fans online.
The British rocker also declared eating animals was no different than pedophilia, saying both are ‘rape, violence, murder.’
He also compared abattoirs to Auschwitz, reported The Independent.
“I see no difference between eating animals and pedophilia,” Morrissey, answering a question about why he stopped eating meat, replied.
“They are both rape, violence, murder. If I’m introduced to anyone who eats beings, I walk away.

Morrissey is also planning to pen a novel after the success of his autobiography — and his ongoing slew of controversial remarks.
“Imagine, for example, if you were in a nightclub and someone said to you, ‘Hello, I enjoy bloodshed, throat-slitting and the destruction of life,’ well, I doubt if you’d want to exchange phone numbers.”
Responding to another question on his fan site, True-To-You.net, the 54-year-old said: “If you believe in the abattoir then you would support Auschwitz. There’s no difference. People who disagree with this statement have probably never been inside an abattoir.”
The Independent also reported that the singer was writing his first novel after the success of his autobiography published last year.
